Shershaah follows the life of Captain Vikram Batra, an officer in the Indian Army. This film follows him from childhood to his heroic sacrifice during the Kargil War 1999. Born in Himachal Pradesh, Captain Batra dreamed of joining and worked hard to pass all entrance exams to join as a Lt in 1999.
The film takes us through Captain Batra’s life at various times, such as his training days, romance with Dimple Cheema, and experiences during the Kargil War. Additionally, it highlights their sacrifices as Indian soldiers.
This movie pays a touching homage to Captain Vikram Batra, posthumously awarded India’s highest military valour award – Param Vir Chakra. It perfectly captures his life and love of country.
